INSEAD MBA Program Information

The INSEAD MBA is the highest ranking Global MBA program a student can take in Singapore. In 2015, Financial Times ranked the program at #4 internationally, which tied it with another prestigious business school, Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Another major business publication, Bloomberg Businessweek, gives the program an international ranking of #2.

The MBA is offered at INSEAD's Asia Campus, located in 1 Ayer Rajah Avenue.

Steep Entry Requirements and Rigorous Admission Process

The student profile of a program is a good indicator of the standard expected of applicants. The average GMAT score of an INSEAD student is over 700. Students are of an average age of 29 years, and they generally have 65 months (approximately 5.4 years) of working experience.

The admission process comprises of 6 stages, spanning a duration of 12 weeks.

Applicants have to first provide 2 letters of recommendation from work, and 5 application essays describing their noteworthy professional and personal endeavours.

If their GMAT score, and all other supporting documents are satisfactory, applicants will undergo 2 interviews, and a re-evaluation by the Admission Committee.

Dynamic and Engaging Format

The school aims to deliver its curriculum in an engaging way, by putting students into study groups comprising of people from different backgrounds and culture, and encouraging participation and debate in classes.

There is a significant emphasis on working together as a group, and the program's core courses and assignments will require input and effort from each of your 5 to 6 group mates. The school believes in building life-long relationships, and cultivating team-building skills.

The school also uses different styles of teaching to deliver its lessons, including case studies, computer simulations, project work, study tours and role-plays.

Program Schedule
