Aalto EMBA Program Information

Aalto EMBA is offered at Aalto Executive Education Academy, in Singapore.

The program is ranked and accredited by major business publications and accrediting bodies.

In its 2012 EMBA rankings, Financial Times ranked Aalto EMBA at number 83 internationally. The program has triple accreditations - 1) Association of MBAs, 2) EFMD, and 3) AACSB International, which means that their program is of a high standard and quality.

The institute states that Aalto EMBA is the top Executive MBA program in the Nordics.


Program Structure and Curriculum

The duration of Aalto EMBA program is 20 months. The course is delivered in a part-time format, suitable for career professionals who want to work and study.

Classes for each module are held once a month, on Friday afternoons, and throughout the whole day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Students will complete 11 core modules and 8 elective modules, during the program. The modules offered in their curriculum are as follows:

International Exchange

Students in the program can also choose to study some of their modules overseas - Finland (Helsinki), Korea (Seoul), Taiwan (Taipei), and Poland (Poznan). This will be a good opportunity to network and meet new people from different cultures.


Entry Requirements and Course Fees

The average profile of students in the programs are as follows - 40 years old, with 16 years of work experience. The majority of students are male (79%), and classes are approximately made up of people from 12 nations.

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet these minimum requirements:

1. Bachelor´s degree or equivalent
2. 5 or more years of managerial or senior specialist work experience
3. Good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Applicants must also have a letter of recommendation from their employers

The course fees for Aalto EMBA is S$55,000.
