University of Wales MBA Program Information

University of Wales MBA is offered at Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS). The University of Wales is based in the UK, the program has yet to be ranked or accredited by any major business publication or accrediting bodies.


Program Structure and Curriculum

The course is offered in a full-time format, its duration is 15 months. Lectures are delivered on weekday mornings and afternoons, and there are classes at least 5 times a week.

Students will have to complete 12 modules and a dissertation. The modules in the curriculum are as follows:
  1. Accounting for Managerial Decisions
  2. Human Resource Management
  3. Information and Knowledge Management
  4. Marketing
  5. Organisation Behaviour and Organisation Development
  6. Project Management and Operational Research
  7. Financial Management
  8. Managing Innovation and Change
  9. Research Methodology for Business
  10. Small Business and Entrepreneurship
  11. International Business
  12. Corporate Strategy
Students will learn through assignments, discussions, self-study, and research. At the end of each semester, students will have to sit for an examination for each module.

The weightage of grades between coursework and examinations, will vary with each module.


Entry Requirements and Course Fees

Applicants who wish to enter the program, must meet the following minimum requirements:
  1. A recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 
  2. At least a C6 pass for English in their GCE 'O' Levels
International students whose first language is not English, might have to take TOEFL or IELTS.
