Baruch EMBA Program Information

The Baruch EMBA is offered at Aventis School of Management, in Singapore. The program is awarded by Baruch College in The City University of New York, United States.

The EMBA has yet to be ranked or accredited by any major business publications or accrediting bodies.


Program Information and Curriculum

The duration of the course is 18 months, students will have to complete 16 modules in order to graduate. The core modules in the curriculum are as follows:
  1. Financial Accounting
  2. Managerial Accounting
  3. The Societal and Governmental Environment of Business
  4. Information Systems for Managers
  5. Microeconomics for Managers
  6. Macroeconomics
  7. Financial Decision Making
  8. Management: A Behavioral Approach
  9. Introduction to Operations Management
  10. Marketing Management
  11. Applied Statistical Analysis for Business Decisions
  12. Business Policy
Students will have to take 4 elective modules, they can choose from 7 different options:
  1. Consumer Behavior
  2. Internet Marketing & Global Business
  3. Entrepreneurial Strategy & Cases
  4. International Financial Markets
  5. Managerial Finance
  6. Investment Analysis
  7. Mergers and Acquisitions
During the program, students will have an opportunity to go for a 3 weeks international study trip in New York.


Entry Requirements and Course Fees

Applicants who wish to enter the program, must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • A recognized undergraduate degree, with 3 (or more) years of work experience, or
  • A diploma from a recognised institution, with 5 (or more) years of management experience
The school is also willing to consider mature candidates with significant work experience, but who may not have met the academic requirements, on a case-by-case basis.

The course fees for Baruch EMBA is S$50,000.
