Northumbria University MBA Program Information

The Northumbria University MBA is offered at Kaplan Higher Education Institute, in Singapore. The program is awarded by Northumbria University's Newcastle Business School, in United Kingdom.

The MBA has yet to be ranked by major business publications, or accredited by major accrediting bodies.

Program Structure and Curriculum
Northumbria University MBA is offered in a part time format, classes are conducted during weekday evenings and weekend afternoons. Students can complete the program in 15 months.

The curriculum is delivered in 4 semesters, the modules you'll study consist of the following:

  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management and Development
  • Operations Management and Organisational Improvement
  • Strategy and Change in a Global Environment
  • Marketing Management – A Relationship Approach
  • Business Research Analysis
  • Contemporary Issues in Management Practice
  • Investment and Performance Analysis
  • Dissertation Preparation and Research Method
Students' performance in the program will by assessed through class participation, examinations, projects, and written assignments.

In the last semester, students will have to complete their final assignment in order to graduate. They can choose between 1) 'Newcastle Business School Masters Dissertation'  or 2) 'Work-Based Action Research Project'.

Entry Requirements and Program Fees
Students who wish to be admitted into Northumbria University MBA program, must meet these minimum requirements:
  1. A recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, and
  2. 3 years working experience
International students who didn't do their degree in English, will have to take IELTS.

The fees for the course is S$19,474.00, it includes everything the student needs for his/her MBA - seminars, workshops, study guides, textbooks, assignments, examination, projects, degree and transcript.
