Newcastle Business School MBA (Northumbria University) Program Information

The Newcastle Business School MBA is offered by Northumbria University's Newcastle Business School in the UK. In Singapore, students can study the MBA program at Kaplan Higher Education Institute.

The Newcastle Business School MBA has yet to be accredited by major accrediting bodies, or ranked by major business publications.

Program Structure

The program is delivered in a part time format, lessons are conducted during weekday evenings or/and weekend afternoons.

The duration of the program is 15 months, delivered over 4 semesters. Some of the modules that students will undertake are as follows:

  3. Operations Management and Organisational Improvement
  4. Strategy and Change in a Global Environment
  5. Marketing Management – A Relationship Approach

  9. Investment and Performance Analysis
  10. Dissertation Preparation and Research Method
  11. The Newcastle Business School Masters Dissertation OR Work-Based Action Research Project
The school will assess students' performance through a combination of class participation, projects, written assignments, and examinations.

Entry Requirements

Student who hope to enter the program must meet these minimum requirements:
  1. A recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, and
  2. 3 years working experiences, and
For applicants without a degree, the school will consider taking them in if they have at least 3 year substantial working experience, and demonstrate motivation and maturity.

The program fees are approximately S$19,474.00, inclusive of registration, intensive seminars, workshops, study guides, textbooks, assignments, and examination.
