Lancaster Global MBA Program Information

The Lancaster Global MBA is offered at SAA (Singapore Accountancy Academy) Global Education Centre. Lancaster University Management School is based in the UK, it is triple accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and the Association of MBAs.

In 2013, Financial Times ranked Lancaster Global MBA at number 71 internationally. In 2011, Forbes ranked the program 7th internationally, in its best non-US one-year MBA programs.


Program Structure and Curriculum

The course is delivered over the period of 2 years, in a part-time format. During the program, students will complete 12 modules, comprising of the following:
  1. Organisational Behaviour
  2. Operations Management 
  3. Marketing Management 
  4. Business Economics
  5. Financial and Management Accounting
  6. Corporate Finance
  7. Strategic Management
  8. Managing Change
  9. Integrative case-based examinations
  10. Consultancy Challenge
  11. Research Methods for Managers
  12. Organisation-based Project and Dissertation
Classes are taught in 3 to 4 days intensive blocks, and there are a total of 13 blocks. Students will learn through workshops, online study, and assessments.


Entry Requirements and Course Fees

The school says that admission into its MBA program is very competitive. The course is aimed at senior managers, with an average of 13 years of work experience.

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet these minimum requirements:
  • a good first degree (preferably second class honours or above) from a recognised university
  • 5 (or more) years of full-time working experience
Additionally, applicants must provide two references - one from their workplace, and another from their school.

If you don't have a UK degree, you're required to take a GMAT,  and achieve a score of at least 600.

The course fees for Lancaster GMBA is $40,831.90, it includes lecture notes, text books, and examination fee.
