Bradford MBA Program Information

The Bradford MBA is offered at the Management Development Institute of Singapore. In 2011, Financial Times ranked the program #90 internationally. It fell out of the top 100 rankings in 2012.

The program has achieved a 'Triple Crown' status, which means that it's accredited by Equis, AMBA and AACSB. This gives Bradford MBA high international reputation for management education. This is advantageous as employers will put a higher value on your MBA education.

Program Structure

Bradford MBA is delivered in both full time and part time format. The full time program takes 15 months to complete, while the part time route takes 2 years.

The curriculum consists of 14 modules, they are as follows:

  4. Business Research
  5. Corporate Finance
  6. Managerial and Professional Development
  7. Managing People
  8. Marketing
  9. Operations Management
  10. Strategic Management
  11. E-Business 
  12. Managing International Business in Emerging Economies
  13. Management of Change
  14. Marketing Communications
Upon completion of the 14 modules, students will have to do a Management Project, which is a report that's 12,500 - 15,000 words long.

The lessons are delivered via a combination of face-to-face tutorial, textbooks, video clips, podcasts, study books, and academic journal papers.

Entry Requirements

Prospective students who wish to enter the program, must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • A formal academic qualification 
    • a first degree from an approved university: 
      • UK degree minimum 2:2 (honours); 
      • European degree gross percentile average (GPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 or 6.5 out of 10, or overall average of 70 from 100 percent – or an acceptable professional qualification).
  • At least three years relevant postgraduate work experience
  • GMAT of 600
    • Students without a GMAT will take an in-house test
  • Evidence of numeracy and literacy competences

Bradford Distance Learning MBA

For students who wish to study Bradford MBA at a more flexible pace and format, they can consider taking up Bradford Distance-Learning MBA. The programme allows students more control over the time, place, and pace of their study.

The period of time given for you to complete the course is 2 to 6 years. You'll do online learning with over 500 other distance-learning students. Students will also have access to Bradford's career and support services.

The program comprises of 3 stages - 1) core modules, 2) elective modules, and 3) management project.

Unlike normal full time or part time students, distance learning students are not required to attend any lectures or tutorials in person. However, if they want to, distance learning students can visit Bradford School of Management or the other partnering institutions, to study the modules in school. There are no extra fees or costs involved.
